CSU Supervisor, Full time: 40 hours per week. Primary shift will consist of day shift (Monday-Friday 7:00AM-3:00PM/8:00AM-4:00PM). The CSU responds to a wide variety of situations and to persons in various stages of crisis in coordination with the treatment team. The Supervisor actively supports the treatment team in the structure, daily schedule, decisions regarding admission and discharge, and other protocols developed for the CSU. Participates in, supports, and complies with the agency’s safety program including disaster drills on the CSU.
Minimum Requirements: High School diploma or GED. 2 years’ experience providing direct care services to persons with mental illness or similar populations. Preferred Requirements Associate or Bachelor’s degree in health sciences or social sciences or related field. 5 years’ experience with both acute and chronic populations in a residential setting. LSW, LISW, LPC, LPCC, or other licensure to practice counseling or license eligible.
Position Duties:
- Provides orientation to new clients including admission forms, resident agreement, personal property inventory, and other related forms/ procedures.
- Assure that new clients receive a complete orientation including admission forms, residential agreement, personal property inventory, and other related forms/ procedures.
- Assures that clients receive appropriate, individualized personal care services including activities of daily living, assistance with self-administration of medication, budgeting, and other individualized services as specified in the client’s ISP to support individual stability and growth based on the client’s needs and preferences.
- Assures that regular checks of each client at time intervals specified by the Treatment Team are conducted and documented appropriately
- Assures that the CSU operates in accordance with all licensing and accreditation requirements. Actively participates in licensing and accreditation survey processes.
- Assures that shift report occurs at the beginning and end of each shift. Participates as appropriate.
- Helps treatment team facilitate transition of clients discharged to the CSU from the state hospital.
- Compiles data for monthly, quarterly, and annual CL/CSU reports
