Job Summary
The Parts position is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our logistics and supply chain processes. This role involves managing inventory, procuring necessary parts, and maintaining relationships with suppliers and customers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in parts and motorsports, with a keen eye for detail and excellent organizational skills.
Duties
- Manage inventory levels to ensure adequate supply of parts for operations.
- Procure parts from suppliers, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards are met.
- Utilize an order management system to track orders and manage supplier relationships effectively.
- Coordinate logistics for incoming and outgoing shipments related to parts inventory.
- Assist in the organization and maintenance of the parts/service department to ensure efficient operations.
- Collaborate with dealership teams to understand parts requirements for service repair projects.
- Conduct regular audits of inventory to identify discrepancies and address issues promptly.
Qualifications
- Experience in logistics, supply chain management, basic computer operation is preferred.
- Familiarity with motorsports repair processes is a plus.
- Strong skills in inventory management and supplier management are essential.
- Proficiency in using order management systems and other relevant software tools.
- Position requires a friendly, outgoing personality.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
